COVID-19 Statement Regarding Current State of Operations – Updated March 24, 2020
Recently, the governors of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Maryland issued Executive Orders stating that only essential businesses may continue to operate in their respective states during the current COVID-19 pandemic. A list of business types which qualify as critical has been published. Reynolds Services and its subsidiaries are critical suppliers in the food and sanitizing supply chains, and therefore, are considered essential.
The Executive Orders are consistent with “The President’s Coronavirus Guidelines for America” posted on the CDC website which states “If you work in a critical infrastructure industry, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, such as healthcare services and pharmaceutical and food supply, you have a special responsibility to maintain your normal work schedule.”
As such, we will continue to operate all of our facilities to meet the demands of the marketplace during these most unusual and demanding times.
The safety and health of our employees is our top priority. All have been instructed in and are following the CDC guidelines for keeping the workplace safe. Where possible, we have taken steps to allow employees to work remotely. Where this is not possible, employees are practicing good social distancing, good hygiene practices, and staying home if sick.
We appreciate your understanding as we all work through this pandemic. Please contact your Reynolds Services representative if there is anything we can do to assist you. Thank you for your continued support and please stay safe.
